Outdated credit scores are restricting opportunity and raising costs for too many people. Coming to the UK, we faced the same obstacles and were frustrated that personal finance has not changed for decades. We are building Abound to create a fairer, more personalised approach to credit

When I moved to the UK, I was unable to get a loan despite having a good job and salary. This was because all the lenders relied on credit scores and statistical averages. We’ve created a better way by using data to truly get to know the unique person behind each application. This allows us to lend to more people at cheaper rates, all while derisking our decisions

  • We believe in the magic of in-person teamwork, trusted relationships and fast decision-making. We work together in the office at least 2 days a week to build the best possible product for our customers
  • At Abound, we believe in empowering everyone to deliver results. If you need support, we're all here to help. And if you don't need it, you're welcome to work autonomously.
  • Everyone’s expertise and perspective is valued and we all have an obligation to speak up and challenge the status quo. If you think something can be done better, we want to hear your solutions and constructive feedback is always welcome.
